Base Energy offers electricity plan designed for commercial and small business accounts in Texas. We can price your rate below the market average for same usage profile, because we earn revenue from grid-balancing operations, not by marking up your rate.
Any commercial or small business account in a deregulated Texas territory. That includes offices, retail stores, restaurants, dental and medical practices, warehouses, churches, franchises, and multi-location operators. If your business has a commercial meter and you can choose your electricity provider, you're likely a fit.
We serve all ERCOT deregulated territories in Texas — Oncor, CenterPoint, AEP Texas, and TNMP. That includes Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, Corpus Christi, Midland-Odessa, and surrounding areas. If your business can choose its electricity provider today, we can probably serve you.
Most retail electricity providers buy wholesale power and add a margin. Base earns revenue by helping balance the Texas grid — charging batteries when supply is high and discharging when demand peaks. That means we don't need to mark up your rate to run our business.
As long as each location meets the eligibility requirements, we can serve them all under the same account. This works well for franchises, multi-site retailers, and businesses with separate office and warehouse meters.
