We sweat the details, so you don't have to

We coordinate everything with your utility (Oncor or CenterPoint) to make sure you're all squared away. We'll even switch you over from your current electricity provider and cover up to $250 in any cancellation fees.

Your energy rate is locked in for 3 years, and the battery agreement lasts 12. If the new homeowner signs up for Base, everything transfers easily. If not, we’ll remove the system for a flat $500—no matter when you move.

We find a clean, code-compliant spot for your system close to your electric meter, and install a soft start if needed to support larger HVAC systems. Every install is tailored with care, based on what works best for your home and the National Electric Code.
Base is your energy provider and backup power provider in one.
We install a large battery (from 25 kWh to 50 kWh) at your home for a low upfront cost. You get power from us at competitive rates because our batteries help balance the grid—charging when demand is low discharging when the grid needs support. When the power goes out, your battery automatically kicks in to keep your home running. Our current system protects against 97% of outages.
Base is cost competitive with grid scale storage by vertically integrating hardware, software, and deployment processes to drive down costs.
Because batteries are customer-sited, there are no interconnection, land, BOP, or other costs normally required for utility-scale storage.
Base’s “Gen 1” product is an 11.4 kW / 25 kWh battery. Customers can get two batteries in parallel for a total of 22.8 kW / 50 kWh. Current battery specs are linked here.
