To get with Base, you pay a $50 refundable deposit upfront. This deposit applies toward your one-time installation cost once your battery is installed.
Installation costs
- Installation fee: $695 or $995 (varies by zip code and plan)
- Your $50 deposit will be credited toward this fee
Ongoing costs
- Membership fee: $19/mo or $29/mo, depending on your plan
Monthly energy bills
- Energy rate: 8¢/kWh plus your utility's transmission and delivery fees
- If you have solar panels, Base buys back any excess energy you produce at 4¢/kWh
