Before you begin
- Place the generator next to your Base battery in a well-ventilated area.
- Point the generator exhaust away from your home.
- Have your NEMA L14-30 cable ready.
Steps
- Open the generator supply door on your Base battery.
- Connect the NEMA L14-30 cable from the generator to the battery.
- Start the generator.
Your home will continue to be powered automatically. The generator will support your home's energy needs and charge the battery as needed.
When you're finished
- Turn off the generator.
- Unplug the NEMA L14-30 cable.
- Close the generator supply door.
- Store the generator in a safe location.
