Sign up and submit payment info

Select battery type and submit $50 refundable deposit. Submitting payment info locks in your order and gets the process started.

Submit home photos

Send us a few photos so we can confirm if your home meets our space and electrical requirements. If there are permits or paperwork needed to install, we handle all of that on our end.

Installation day

We'll work with you to pick a day for installation. Our crew will need two days on-site to get your battery installed and running.

DO YOU QUALIFY?

Electrical requirements

  • The main breaker in the electrical panel must be 100-200A, depending on whether the home has solar and how many batteries we’re installing.
  • The main panel cannot be located in a closet, as it must be kept away from flammable materials.
  • The meter must be installed no higher than 6 feet off the ground.
  • In front of the meter and main panel there must be a clear space of 30” high x 36” wide.
  • The meter and conduit must be securely attached and undamaged.

Spacing requirements

  • Must be at least 3 feet away from gas meter vent outlet.
  • Should be installed within 20 feet of the electrical meter. Conduit runsfrom the battery to the meter, and Base cannot perform any trenchingor attic conduit runs.
  • Should be placed about 1 foot away from the wall.

Don’t worry - solar isn’t required with Base. Base keeps your lights on during outages even without panels.

Keep your panels working through outages

If you have solar, your panels can recharge the battery to extend your backup duration. No extra equipment costs, no unexpected maintenance fees — just a low monthly membership.
